Tuhan tidak pernah menjanjikan perjalanan kita selalu mulus dan tenang. Bahkan Rasul Paulus pernah mengalami tiga kali karam kapal. Banyak orang menjadi kecewa waktu mereka melakukan hal yang benar tetapi mengalami penderitaan karenanya, tapi kita tidak perlu kuatir. Kesulitan yang muncul waktu Tuhan menempatkan kita di tempat di mana kita berada adalah persiapan untuk terjadinya mujizat.

Apakah mujizat itu? Apakah itu sekedar suatu peristiwa spektakuler untuk membungkam mulut para pengkritik? Banyak orang tidak menyadari mujizat justru pada saat sebenarnya mereka sedang melihat mujizat tersebut. Yesus memberi makan orang banyak dengan menggunakan bekal makan siang seorang anak kecil, Tetapi tidak lama kemudian orang-orang pandai dan terpelajar justru menuntut Yesus untuk menunjukkan sebuah mujizat! Yesus berkata bahwa orang seperti itu tidak akan percaya kalaupun mereka melihat orang mati

Pikiran kedagingan terlalu bodoh untuk menerima perkara-perkara dari Tuhan, tetapi cerdas sekali untuk merasionalisasikan semua pekerjaan Tuhan.

Mujizat adalah sebuah kata sederhana dalam Alkitab yang berarti ôpekerjaan yang penuh kuasa.ö Itu saja! Mujizat itu bukan sihir mitos Romawi yang tidak masuk akal. Mujizat adalah hal yang perlu dialami oleh orang percaya secara terus menerus. Kuasa Tuhan yang bekerja dalam setiap hari, 365 hari yang penuh mujizat dalam tiap tahunnya, atau 366 hari dalam tahun kabisat. Seringkali kita mendengar orang-orang Kristen menceritakan apa yang Iblis sedang kerjakan seolah-olah setan lebih aktif dari Tuhan. Mungkin setan memang lebih suka pamer untuk menarik impresi kita. Tetapi Tuhan langsung bekerja ke jantung persoalan, demi untuk memuaskan hati-Nya yang penuh kasih.

Mengapa ada begitu banyak orang Kristen yang baik tidak pernah mengalami kuasa mujizat Tuhan bekerja dalam kehidupan mereka? Mereka duduk dengan setia di gereja, mendengarkan pengkhotbah terbaik.. berdoa..menangi…bahkan mengaku, “Tuhan, aku percaya.” Mereka mendengar Firman lalu mempercayainya, kemudian apa lagi? Mereka hanya duduk di sana, menunggu Yesus melakukan sesuatu dan berdoa, “Tuhan, kirimkan kuasa-Mu.” Dan Tuhan melewati perahu-perahu mereka….

“Kalau engkau ingin mengalami mujizat, engkau perlu keluar dari perahumu dan berjalan mendekati Yesus di atas gelombang!”

Dia memanggil kita. Dia tidak berkata, “Tetaplah di situ, aku akan masuk ke dalam perahumu.” Yesus berkata, “Datanglah!” Apa? Di atas air? Ya! Di situlah mujizat itu terjadi.

Untuk melihat Tuhan “in action” maka kita juga harus “in action.” Jangan pedulikan dengan penganggu yang menggangu kita. Kita tidak boleh tinggal bersama dengan kelompok yang suka kenyamanan dan tidak mau tantangan. Karena mereka tidak menunjukkan ketaatan iman. Kita harus berani melompat keluar, karena Yesus memerintahkan kita untuk melakukan itu. Kita harus lebih taat pada pendapat Tuhan dari pada pendapat manusia, karena justru di laut yang bergelora itulah terletak mujizat kita.

Ketaatan itu seperti mencolokkan kepala kabel ke steker listrik kuasa Tuhan sehingga kuasa Tuhan bisa mulai bekerja. Ketaatan adalah sambungan final kita.

Smith Wiglesworth suatu saat mengatakan pada seorang pendeta tua konvensional yang ragu-ragu dalam bertindak seperti ini:

The Acts of the Apostles were written because the lives of the Apostles bore the fruit of active faith.

Biarpun kita diurapi tapi INISIATIF adalah sesuatu yang diperlukan juga. Lompatlah! Aku tidak akan mati, tetapi hidup, dan aku akan menceritakan perbuatan-perbuatan TUHAN – Mazmur 118:17.

Kekristenan adalah agama yang penuh mujizat atau tidak sama sekali.

Salah satu pengajaran dasar kekristenan adalah kebangkitan. Kalau tidak ada kebangkitan maka semua iman kita sia-sia. Kalau kebangkitan adalah suatu kebenaran, maka mujizat lain bukan hanya mungkin, tapi so pasti sangat mungkin!

Yesus mengatakan: Apa yang mustahil bagi manusia MUNGKIN bagi Allah! Mujizat itu bukan kemustahilan bagi Tuhan, tetapi kemustahilan bagi manusia. Sesuatu yang hanya Tuhan sendiri yang bisa kerjakan, berkenaan dengan mujizat. Kita seperti kran air yang menjadi saluran air untuk mengalir. Waktu kita menyatakan Firman Tuhan maka Tuhan sang pembuat mujizat akan melepaskan kuasanya.

Orang yang selalu mencari kehendak Tuhan akan ketinggalan dengan orang yang melakukan kehendak Tuhan. Merentangkan bulu domba seperti yang Gideon lakukan bisa menjadi alatnya iblis untuk mengalahkan kita. Kalau Yesus berkata, “Pergi!” mengapa Dia perlu ulang-ulang lagi kata-kata tersebut!

Minggu ini biarlah kita belajar untuk taat dan mengambil inisiatif sehingga kita bisa hidup di tengah mujizat-Nya Tuhan!

God never promised us the trip was always smooth and quiet. Even the Apostle Paul had experienced three times the sinking ship. Many people become disappointed when they did the right thing but have suffered so, but we do not need to worry. The difficulties which arise when God put us in a place where we are is the preparation for the occurrence of miracles.

Was it a miracle? Is it just a spectacular event to silence the mouths of the critics? Many people do not realize the miracle just when in fact they're seeing these miracles. Jesus fed multitudes with a lunch of a small child, but not long before the smart people and learned instead demanded Jesus to show a miracle! Jesus said that such people would not believe if they see dead people

Fleshly mind is too stupid to accept the case-the case of God, but very clever to rationalize all the Lord's work.

Miracles is a simple word in the Bible, which means that full ôpekerjaan kuasa.ö That's it! Miracles are not magic Roman myth that does not make sense. Miracles are things that need to be experienced by believers continually. The power of God at work in every day, 365 day full of miracles in each year, or 366 days in leap year. We often do not appreciate how miraculous events that are happening around us. God hides His hand. God did not

Often we hear Christians tell me what the devil was doing as if the devil is more active than God. Perhaps Satan is more like showing off to attract our impressions. But God worked directly into the heart of the issue, in order to satisfy His heart full of love.

Why are there so many good Christian people have never experienced the power of God work miracles in their lives? They sat down with the faithful in church, listening to the best preacher .. pray .. wins ... even admitted, "Lord, I believe." They heard the Word and believe, then what else? They just sit there, waiting for Jesus to do something and pray, "Lord, send thy power." And the Lord through their boats ....

"If you want to experience a miracle, you need to get out of the boat and walked up to Jesus on the waves!"

He calls us. He did not say, "Stay there, I'll get into the boat." Jesus said, "Come!" What? On the water? Yes! That's where the miracle took place.

To see the Lord "in action" then we must also be "in action." Do not mind penganggu that interfere with us. We should not live together with a group who like the convenience and do not want to challenge. Because they do not show obedience of faith. We must dare to jump out, because Jesus commanded us to do that. We should be more obedient to God's opinion of the human opinion, because even in the turbulent sea that lies our miracle.

Obedience is like plugging in the cable head to the power plug the power of God so that God's power can start working. Obedience is our final connection.

Even if we are anointed but INITIATIVE is a necessary as well. Jump! I will not die, but live, and I'll tell deeds of the LORD - Psalm 118:17.

Christianity is a religion full of miracles or not at all.

One of the basic teaching of Christianity is the resurrection. If there is no resurrection then all our faith is in vain. If resurrection is a truth, then another miracle is not only possible, but so surely it is possible!

Jesus said: What is impossible for man MAY be to Allah! Miracles are not impossible for God, but the impossibility for humans. Something that only God Himself can do, with regard to miracles. We are like tap water into water channel to flow. When we declare the Word of God then God the miracle maker will release its power.

People who always seek God's will be missed by those who do God's will. Stretch fleece as Gideon did could be a tool the devil to defeat us. When Jesus said, "Go!" Why did he need to repeat those words again!

This week let us learn to be obedient and take the initiative so that we can live in the midst of His miracles of God!
